12/24/24 | Eagles snap counts: A.J. Brown shows up to face Marshon Lattimore. For the first time all season, A.J. Brown didn't leave the field in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders. The Eagles' Pro Bowl receiver played 74 of 74 snaps against the Commanders. Brown faced off against the Pro Bowl cornerback on Sunday afternoon. The other two games in his career where Brown played 100% of the snaps came against the Saints in 2022 (with the Eagles) and in 2019 (with the Titans) and he faced Lattimore in both of those games too. 12/21/24 | Eagles WRs prepare to face a 'great corner' for 2nd time this season after trade to Commanders. Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was preparing for Friday's practice, ready to take part even though he appeared on the injury list Thursday with a knee injury, one that he brushed aside Friday by saying we was going to play Sunday afternoon when the Eagles take on the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. With Brown set to play, he is preparing to look across the line of scrimmage and see a familiar foe who he has history playing against and a player the Commanders traded for just before this year's deadline. If he does have a good day against him, the Eagles could find themselves as the new champions of the NFC East. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore played in his first game for the Commanders last week against his former team, the New Orleans Saints, not allowing a target in the Commanders' 20-19 win. 12/16/24 | ‘Refs Let Them Push Off’: Joey Porter Jr. Says A.J. Brown ‘One Of Those Guys’ Who Won’t Draw Flags. Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. knows Eagles WR A.J. Brown got the better of him yesterday—but he also knows, in his mind, that the way the referees officiated the game helped. Unlike in some other games, they allowed for plenty of contact between receivers and defensive backs. And Brown and the Eagles certainly took advantage […] Source: https://steelersdepot.com/2024/12/refs-let-them-pu... |
