12/03/24 How Marvin Mims Jr. got his swagger back with Broncos and made the biggest play of his career to date against Cleveland. Marvin Mims Jr. took off out of the slot, ripped up the middle of the field toward the Broncos' south end zone at Empower Field and came open just as Bo Nix cut loose a throw. The ball hit the turf harmlessly and Mims looked to the sky after the latest in a string of what-could-have-been moments. This was near the end of the first half of a Week 8 win against Carolina, in the depths of Mims' frustrating first half of the season. Mims had originally been coached to try to run past the safeties and then look for the ball.

11/20/24 Mile High Morning: NFL Network's Brian Baldinger breaks down key moments from Broncos' Week 11 win vs. Falcons. Baldinger also highlighted Denver's offensive performance, noting that the team "blew the game open in the second quarter with two big drives led by explosive plays." Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. and guard Quinn Meinerz received praise from Baldinger, while running back Javonte Williams' team-effort touchdown also earned recognition. Additionally, Baldinger commended the play of left tackle Garett Bolles, who made his 110th start for the Broncos on Sunday. Breaking down several key moments during the Broncos' 10-play, 70-yard opening touchdown drive, Baldinger noted that Bolles is "playing great football" this season and was at the top of his game. "Well-designed play, perfectly executed," Baldinger

11/18/24 Broncos stock report: WR Marvin Mims Jr. makes the most of 14 offensive snaps. Here's a look at whose stock improved or declined after the Broncos' 38-6 win over the Falcons on Sunday. WR Marvin Mims Jr.: Denver's second-year wideout only played 14 offensive snaps but he made them count. Mims had two catches for 49 yards and recorded his first touchdown of the season. The Broncos had Mims lined up in the backfield quite a bit for the second straight week, and even though he only had four yards on three carries, he was deceptive.

11/17/24 Broncos Four Downs: Bo Nix is brilliant, Marvin Mims Jr. electric as everybody eats in dominant bounce-back win. Mims the word: It appears Sean Payton has finally figured out how to use Marvin Mims Jr. A week ago, it was putting the Oklahoma speedster in the backfield and turning him into a runner. This week, Payton put him in the backfield … and turned him into a receiver. Javonte's got juice: Every time Broncos Country gets ready to kick dirt on Javonte Williams as RB1, the veteran running back kicks it right back. Early in the season, when it looked Tyler Badie might take his spot, Williams responded with 338 total yards and over the next four games.

11/15/24 Broncos add new wrinkle to offense with WR Marvin Mims Jr. in backfield. In search of ways to get Marvin Mims Jr. more opportunities on offense, Sean Payton got creative. Denver's head coach had seen how the 49ers have used star wideout Deebo Samuel at running back. In a small sample size, Mims was effective, totaling three carries for 17 yards while averaging 5.7 yards per attempt. It opened up a new wrinkle in Payton's offense that opposing defensive coordinators will now have to prepare for.

11/05/24 Broncos Mailbag: Why is Sean Payton not giving Marvin Mims Jr. more opportunities?. Denver Post Broncos writer Parker Gabriel posts his Broncos Mailbag weekly during the season and periodically during the offseason. At the halfway point of the season, who are your choices for Broncos team MVP? Recency bias and a bad day at the office against Baltimore don't change this answer for me.

10/21/24 Broncos CB Tremon Smith has played major role in Denver's success on special teams: “He's been real productive”. Most might overlook the play, but it exemplified Tremon Smith's value to the Broncos' special teams. Lined up as a gunner for the punt return unit in Week 5's matchup against the Raiders, the 28-year-old cornerback backpedaled down the field while staying in front of cornerback Darnay Holmes. When Marvin Mims Jr. caught the ball and cut to the left, Smith used his body to wipe out three defenders, creating an opportunity for the second-year returner to speed down the field for a 38-yard gain in the third quarter.

8/30/24 Broncos WR Marvin Mims Jr. among players from 2023 rookie class with a chance for expanded role in Year 2. Marvin Mims Jr. is ready to fly. Despite his rookie season ending with a Pro Bowl appearance, Mims is certain he could've done more as a wide receiver in 2023. In Year 2, Mims — a second-round pick from Oklahoma — might get his wish for an extended role. Denver's success this fall will be dictated to some degree by a handful of unproven players, including Mims.

7/24/24 For QB Jarrett Stidham to continue ascending, Broncos HC Sean Payton says timing is everything: “Certainly he knows what we're doing”. Marvin Mims Jr. swears only lopsided numbers led to his clothes getting paint-soaked earlier this month. The paintball battles in Texas with his Broncos teammates, he claims, were not fair fights. The rest of the days he spent with other Denver skill position players plus quarterbacks Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix? “It's a good thing,” Mims said.
