The Buffalo Bills granted Edwards' request for his release on Tuesday after attempting to find a trade partner with needs in the secondary. Edwards, 28, was inactive despite being healthy for most of the season to date for the Bills (7-2), appearing in three games and playing only 20 total snaps on defense and special teams.
