MIN11/21 7:47 PM Caleb Boushley (P-MIN) Texas Rangers add potential swing man on minor league deal. The Rangers have signed 31-year-old right-hander Caleb Boushley, with just a pinch of major league experience, to a minor league deal. Boushley, who reached the majors after being a 33rd-round selection in the 2017 draft, spent last season in the Minnesota organization. In his seven minor league seasons, Boushley has made a reputation as a strike-thrower, averaging 3.22 strikeouts per walk and just 2.4 walks per nine innings.

LAD11/21 6:56 PM Pedro Guerrero (SS-LAD) Alyssa Nakken leaves SF Giants for Cleveland Guardians: report. Alyssa Nakken, the first woman coach in Major League Baseball history, is leaving the Giants to join the Cleveland Guardians as an assistant in player development, as first reported by 95.7 The Game's Steven Rissotto. Nakken is the latest member of last year's coaching staff to depart from the team, joining Justin Viele (Rangers), Pedro Guerrero (Marlins) and Bryan Price (stepped down).

BOS11/21 4:56 PM Jarren Duran (OF-BOS) Two Red Sox received AL MVP votes for impressive 2024 showings. The Boston Red Sox may not have made the postseason in 2024, but they did have a few players who had remarkable individual campaigns. Red Sox center fielder Jarren Duran and third baseman Rafael Devers were so impressive that they received votes for the American League MVP. The MLB announced on Thursday that Duran finished eighth and received 25 total votes (with the highest being for fourth place) while Devers finished 13th and received two (the highest being for seventh). Duran appeared in 160 games this season (missing two due to suspension).

CHW11/21 4:45 PM Garrett Crochet (P-CHW) Top names the Orioles have eyes on in trade market. White Sox star starting pitcher Garrett Crochet is drawing big interest from the Orioles, Red Sox, Dodgers and Phillies, among others. The Orioles and Red Sox are well stocked with the position-player talent Chicago seeks. While the O's surrendered some prospects at the deadline, this may be their best hope for an ace. Ultimately, they may have trouble outbidding bigger markets for Corbin Burnes. Top trade names: 1. Crochet . While it's a year later, his value is actually up thanks to the innings issue going away. 2. Nolan Arenado. Cardinals are shopping him, but full no-trade complicates things. Garrett Crochet pitches against the Detroit Tigers during the second inning of a baseball game Sept.

CLE11/21 4:23 PM Triston McKenzie (P-CLE) REPORT: Guardians Avoid Arbitration With Starting Pitcher. Triston McKenzie looked like the future ace of the Cleveland Guardians during the 2022 season. What we do know is that it looks like Sticks will still be in the equation for Cleveland in some capacity in 2025. Per FanSided's Robert Murray, the Guardians and McKenzie settled on a $1.95 million contract for the 2025 season and avoided going through the arbitration process. Cleveland eventually optioned Triston to Triple-A halfway through the season to work on getting his rhythm and confidence back.

PIT11/21 4:00 PM Bryan De La Cruz (OF/DH-PIT) New Houston Astros Trade Idea Buys Low On Embattled Pittsburgh Pirates Slugger. The Houston Astros need offensive help in the outfield and will need find a value-forward option in the trade market to do so. One such player is Pittsburgh Pirates slugger Bryan De La Cruz. Tim Kelly of Bleacher Report now has De La Cruz as the most likely Pittsburgh player to be shipped out this winter. A possible deal between the two teams could see Houston send prospects Zach Cole and Jackson Nezuh to the Pirates in exchange for the struggling slugger.

BOS11/21 4:00 PM Bryan Mata (P-BOS) Some team could get a steal in recently-discarded Red Sox if the hype is real. On Nov. 19, the Boston Red Sox added pitching prospect Hunter Dobbins and outfield prospect Jhostynxon Garcia to the 40-man roster to protect them from the upcoming Rule 5 Draft. Boston's 40-man roster was full when the two prospects were protected, and two players had to be removed to accommodate them. Former top pitching prospect Bryan Mata was one of the casualties. Mata signed with the Red Sox out of Venezuela in 2016 and posted three quality seasons in the lower levels of their minor league system.

CHC11/21 3:00 PM Patrick Wisdom (1B-CHC) The Chicago White Sox should bring this former Cubs fan favorite to the Southside. Patrick Wisdom is no longer going to hit home runs at Wrigley Field, but that does not mean he should stop crushing dingers in Chicago. The Chicago White Sox lineup needs hitters who can put the ball in the air, and now that Wisdom has been let go by the Cubs, this a cost-effective veteran the Southside team should sign. Wisdom's slash line was not great in 2024 (.171/.237/.392), and he hit just eight home runs. His advanced stats were still good for a power hitter. It is better when you compare his barrel or hard-hit percentage to Andrew Vaughn. Wisdom would be a much better first-base option for the White Sox in 2025 than Vaughn because Patrick can put the ball in the air.

NYY11/21 3:00 PM Gleyber Torres (2B-NYY) Yankees 2-time All-Star predicted to betray NY and join Blue Jays. The Toronto Blue Jays missed the postseason in 2024, but are expected to be aggressive in free agency. While predicting every team's Opening Day lineup, Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter predicted that the Blue Jays would sign Gleyber Torres from the New York Yankees. Torres was one of the top prospects in baseball in 2018. When he made his debut for the Yankees he continued to shine.
